Mewtwo had spent himself with the psybeam, so we had nursed him back to health. The Phoenix was softened by Mewtwo's courage, realizing what it did. Mewtwo had nearly died for everyone else. The Phoenix had cried for Mewtwo, helping to keep him alive. All the Pokemon were brought to the pokémon center to heal, including Phoenix. The missing people were simply sleeping, having been hypnotized by Phoenix. The town was brought back to normal almost instantly with Phoenix's help. Arianna and Phoenix were leaving soon. But not before giving us several Phoenix eggs.
"Take good care of zem. Zey ARE ze only ones in existence," she said with a smile. She mounted Phoenix, and they took off into the sky, Phoenix singing one last song of peace.
